Kate Bartelt

Senior Associate

 

Kate Bartelt is a Senior Associate at Richardson, Richter & Associates, Inc. (RRA) and is experienced in providing high-level public outreach, facilitation, mediation, and conflict resolution for a variety of stakeholders.

 

Since joining RRA in 2003, Ms. Bartelt has designed and implemented public involvement programs for several transportation projects including the Minnesota Department of Transportation Crosstown Reconstruction, Oronoco 52 projects, and Bottineau Transitway Alternatives Analysis Study.

 

Ms. Bartelt is trained in several public involvement techniques, including Systematic Development of Informed Consent and Context Sensitive Design. Ms. Bartelt also completed Hmong, Latino and Somali Cultural Proficiency Training in 2010. 

 

Ms. Bartelt earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science at Iowa State University, and her Master of Science in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy at the University of Minnesota Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs. She also did field study in Costa Rica and Australia.
